"A lovely spacious property, well equipped kitchen with a lovely clean pool, plenty of outside seating/relaxing space complete with a barbecue, independent air conditioning in both bedrooms. The owner is lovely lady who is always available should she be required but will also stay away and let you enjoy your holiday if that's what you want. Would highly recommend this Gite for an adult break but I believe it would also suit a family with young children as I believe our children would have loved...

"The house is beautifully renovated in a Catalan style, traditional to this area. It has everything you need for short or long term stays and is very homely. The village (Palalda) is a perfect location on the south facing (sunny!) side of the mountain. Great for sports as there are so many cycling, running/ hiking routes in the area and it is close to the lake at Saint Jean and not far from the coast."

"Our extended family group (2 families + grandparent+visiting friends) had a fabulous stay at Martin's holiday home. The children in our group loved the pool and spent hours in it, while the adults especially enjoyed breakfasts and dinners in the beautiful garden, all accompanied by the sound of fresh running water from the mountains. "We all enjoyed our stay. The area is very quiet, and on reflection a bit too quiet for us but would suit people looking to get away from it. The view from the garden is fantastic. The kids loved the pool and especially the tree house. The childrens room was absolutely fine for them and great to have a bath. House was.comfortable, lovely big sofa.
