A budget hotel this was our 3rd stay at this hotel, so we knew what to expect. We chose the room we wanted before we booked, but this was not acknowledged when we arrived, so we were but in a room around the pool area, noisy till midnight, and beyond, there is music playing all night, and people returning all night, talking on phones and slamming doors ! The light was not working when we arrived at 10pm but no one available to repair this, we were left with a side lamp, that was 2 pin into a 3 pin plug, that was so sensitive would take ages to get the light on. The general catering and cleaning staff are good and friendly, but the reception is hopeless, if you ask or order an early breakfast it is never ready, any problems you can never speak to the right person, we were left no towels one night , and the fight to get some was quite unbelievable ! first you usually have to wake the person up on reception as they are usually asleep ! or on there phone quite crazy, as the reception is your point of attention at any hotel.. often no electricity or water, which is quite annoying, if you have been out all day and need a shower !this is a budget hotel and if you do not mind Gambian time....and the constant noise, this is an ok hotel for the money, but you must be patient !
