"The house was amazing, an open floor plan with tons of seating, a kitchen that lacked for nothing, and a view that you could look at forever! The house was spotless and so clean. Every bedroom and bathroom were clean and fully furnished so that you just had to drop off your bags and enjoy! The dock was amazing with kayaks and a floating mat. we were able to tie our boat to the dock as well. There is nice seating with a table and chairs at the dock and cots to enjoy the sun! If you get tired of the water, you could enjoy the hot tub! We had a total of 10 people with us and could have easily had more and fit comfortably. We also loved the ping pong table, card table and a shuffleboard table. Lots of fun and we all were able to spend time down there with plenty of room! I had several questions and chatted with the host several times. She was super kind, answered quickly and always helped us out. I cannot say enough about what an amazing experience this was for our family! thank you boat family for making this possible! we will definitely be back!! "

"It was a very lovely room and extremely comfortable! Hosts were very responsive when needed! (Just FYI the plates you left on top the microwave are NOT microwave safe. I tried them and it sparked and snapped, and I looked on the back of the plate where it says not for microwave) Overall wonderful stay!!!"

I'm not sure we can add anything to what other reviewers have mentioned -- the house is amazing, both inside and out; the lot is outstanding; the location is perfect; the amenities are plentiful & first-rate; and the hosts couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. My wife and I have rented numerous vacation homes and condos over the past 20 years, and my wife says this is her new favorite, narrowly edging out her previous #1 -- something I didn’t think was possible!Typically, my wife and I go on a week-long vacation in July with three generations of family members. But life is unpredictable, and due to circumstances, this year our getaway instead ended up being four nights in September and a much smaller group -- in fact, just the two of us. Yes, it seemed silly to rent such a big house, and I admit to being a bit concerned that it would seem uncomfortable, cold, and somewhat awkward. It was anything but. Surprisingly -- perhaps due to the architecture, floorplan/layout, furniture & furnishings, or all of the above -- somehow the house felt large & spacious, while simultaneously charming & cozy. I'm not sure how that was possible, but we felt just as comfortable as we do in our own home. On further reflection, I think it was mainly because the hosts obviously don't think of people as simply "renters", but rather as their personal guests -- a very welcome bright spot in what has been a difficult year."
