Good location

Great location, easy parking & good staff but hotel could do with a bit of a spritz, rooms are small & look tired. Rooftop bar nice addition.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room design could use a little help. I would suggest hanging mugs on the wall instead of taking up space on table in room as space is at a premium.

Family friendly away from the bustle of Sete.

Family friendly hotel 5 mins walk from the beach. Room was a little small for 4 but manageable. A little out of Sete centre but plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. We stayed local as Sete centre is very busy. We ate at Restaurant Chez Mino opposite on the advice of the hotel staff and were blown away by the quality of the food. The roof top is a lovely place for aperitivo as the sun sets and then digestivo after dinner.

Sète is a little complicated as far as hotels. I was only in town to see the Brassens museum and gravesite, and also went to the Paul Valéry museum, which are quite far from the old town center, which is known for heavy traffic and scarce parking. It’s probably a two-hour walk round trip plus hills to see both museums. The location of the Imperial Hotel is convenient to both museums as long as you have a car. Parking in the public lot across the street is free from 7pm-9am and on Sunday. It’s less well located if you want a bunch of restaurants and bars around, although there is a highly-rated restaurant and highly-rated bistro within a block or two, plus a nice pizzeria next door and a so-so looking bar next to that and a mini Carrefour across the street. Besides that, there’s not much within walking distance unless you want to gamble at the casino. The staff at the hotel are very pleasant and welcoming, the building and rooms are clean and in good shape, and the off-season price was very good. It worked out well for me.

Beautiful but dirty

Actually a nice room and very kind employee’s But the room was so dirty especially the toilet, the drain on the bathtub could not hold the water. Sad if the cleaning was okay it would be a 5/5 recommendation from here

My first room had a horrible smell. I was told they have it when it is windy. Too bad there is always wind in Sete. I had to argue to change it to another room. I was given a lower category room so the no offer to compensation. In the new room the sink did not drain. There was no hot water in the morning for the shower. No excuse offered. Seemed business as usual. Never again.

Superbe terrasse mais hôtel mal isolé

L’accueil était très bien et la terrasse nous a beaucoup plus. Les tarifs au bar sont un peu élevés mais la vue de la terrasse vaut le coup. Le gros point faible est l’isolation entre les chambres et le bruit extérieur. Le rideau électrique ne se ferme pas complètement et laisse passer la lumière.

Hotel bueno en servicio y acceso

El hotel nos gusto mucho por la habitacion con terraza aunque lateral estaba muy bien, el personal muy amable y atento y tiene una terraza con unas vistas expectaculares, lo unico malo es que esta un poco lejos de Setè, aunque tiene un paseo muy ancho y agradable nosotros fuimos cada dia a pie al pueblo. dejamos foto des de la terraza.

Buena relación calidad precio

Hotel cerca de la playa y alejado del centro del pueblo. Las opciones de aparcamiento gratuito en la zona son muy limitadas (es posible en el casino de al lado pero bajo la responsabilidad de cada uno). Un poco desfasado. Buen rooftop.
