"This was our second to the last stop on our 10 day trip in Portugal and it was one of the best. The staff was exemplary. The location was remote and peaceful. Our suite was the most luxurious of the trip with its beautiful views across the creek canyon to the forest Hills and onto the coast at Sesimbra. They provide one complementary glass of wine and with that we ordered an afternoon snack, expressing our interest in salad. We got a large fresh, delicious, healthy salad to split between us. So...

"It was very difficult to find from Setubal and if they’d given better directions from highway it would have saved us 3 hours of stress trying to locate it via several passer-by people most had no English, so language difficulties occurred. We did not have Satnav in hire car and phones no use as English ones that only good for photos or on WiFi. Apart from that it was a very nice hotel and staff spoke English and very friendly. "Huge room, huge beds, friendly staff, free and good coffee. But the hotel is dated, sound insulation non-exist. The neighborhood is a sketchy but the hotel felt safe. Well, the price is good, cannot complain. "
