"The house is located on top of a hill surrounded by beautiful countryside. The owners who live next door were very kind and helpful. There are only two houses on that hill. They are totally isolated, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The house is well equiped with everything you need. We spent a lovely week. Château de la Roche is worth a visit, as well as Lyon easily reachable by train from Tarare a town half an hour away from the gîte. ."

"The hotel is a charming stopping off point for the region, especially for wine lovers. The rooms are not exceptional, but the service was very good and the evening meal was delicious. The terrace and pool were also pleasant."
