Location is superb if desiring to stay in Burton in the water. Beautiful, quaint town. Only complaint was lack of cooling. Luckily able to cool off at night with windows open. "Very helpful friendly reception staff. Very accommodating and upgraded us without issue to a beautiful room with a beautiful view. Perfect location. However,building work has commenced next to the property which can be a little intrusive with truck noises (which is why we asked to change room), but this won't be forever and apparently it is a leisure complex that can only enhance the hotel once completed. Ease of access to Chipping Norton Town with good parking facilities and eateries. We did try the hotel restaurant which was okay but nothing special and a little pricey. (never understood the pretentious concept of serving food on a wooden chopping board instead of a plate, a plate , I feel is better in terms of presentation and hygiene). Staff however, very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely want to stay here again if in the area."
