A comfortable, well presented apartment in an amazing complex of historic buildings

The Corral del Conde is an exceptional complex of historic buildings - it feels a privilege to stay here and to be able to experience something something which is not generally accessible (the courtyards are only accessed by residents). It’s also an oasis of quiet and calm in the middle of the city. The location is within the historic centre of Seville, but outside the tourist hub around the Cathedral: in many ways this is ideal as the main sights are still within 10 minutes walk, but the apartment is also close to local shops and bars. On arrival we were greeted by our host, Jesus, who was very helpful and friendly. Communication about the booking was also excellent. The apartment itself has been simply and tastefully decorated and furnished, with terracotta tiled floors throughout in keeping with the character of the building. The kitchenette, and the apartment as a whole, is very well equipped. We stayed during an exceptional (for June) heatwave with temperatures above 40 degrees but the two a/c units were very effective and we actually found the apartment stayed surprisingly cool even without using the a/c. Staying at Corral del Conde was entirely positive in every way!
