Our favorite stay in Alaska. The cabin was very spacious for 4 adults and the full kitchen made it super easy to make meals. Was only about 20 minutes to downtown where all the restaurants and tours are based. There wasn’t much of a view since there are trees and shrubs, but it’s still very peaceful and you can take the pathway at the back of the property to the creek.

One of our favorite experiences in our two week trip. Loved the attention to detail, including the fresh flowers and the already built and ready to be lit kindling in the fire pit. The little walk to the river bed was great for views . We'd stay get again.

Beautiful remodeled home! Close to Seward, Exit Glacier, boat and outdoor tours. The kitchen had everything well stocked. Wildlife outside the window! Would totally stay here again!

Cozy and welcoming! All needed items available. Close enough to seward but out enough to feel by yourself, neighborhood was quite and felt very safe to walk with children. Gorgous mtn/river views. So happy we stayed here!!

Really fantastic property. Lots of wildlife around, we had two moose in the backyard at dusk and several fluffy bunnies. The house was perfect for our family of 5. Beds were comfy, laundry room was big and better than what we have at our home. There’s a path to the river behind the house that we explored. Ian communicated lots of helpful info and was a great host. Whenever we come back to Seward, we will definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay in Seward

Would definitely stay here again, accommodations were great and attention to detail was excellent. A highlight was seeing a moose and her 2 little ones in the yard two evenings while we were there.

What a delightful cabin in beautiful surroundings! Had a perfect stay at Ian's property as a party of four adults and a child. The house has the most comfortable beds and the best amenities. The best part is the location, only 10 minutes from Seward harbor, and yet secluded. We made a campfire, spotted moose and rabbits on the property, and enjoyed the views of the creek just 10 steps out of the backyard. Ian was a communicative and generous host. I recommend this stay to anyone visiting Seward- it will only make your trip better.

Great Seward Getaway!

Lovely home in a secluded quiet neighborhood that is just minutes away from Seward. Ian, our host, was wonderful as was the house. Highly recommmend!

Great house near Seward

My family of 6 was very comfortable in this house. They have clearly put a lot of work into making it modern and cozy. It’s convenient to Seward and Cooper Landing day trips. Would definitely recommend.

Peninsula Vacation

Stopped off in Seward for a couple of days while road tripping on the peninsula. This home is in a great location. Good views from the house. Clean. Great property and only a short drive to town.

Great cabin in Bear Creek

We loved our stay at Ian’s cabin. It was a spacious, clean and well appointed 2 bedroom cabin, with lots of room for our family of 4. Seward is a very beautiful part of the world and it was so nice after having full days of activities, to return to this homely cabin in a very tranquil setting. Would highly recommend.

Great house with nice yard

We had a great time - location is convenient and peaceful, about a 10 min drive from Seward center and there is a grocery store nearby. House was great and kitchen well-stocked - only request is one more dining chair, there were only four and there were five of us.

Great stay in the Seward area!

We stayed at the Alaska View Lodge for four nights while in Seward with my wife and three adult children and had a great time. The location is wonderful - 5 minutes to Seward makes it close to all of the activities there, but removed enough to feel out on your own a bit as well - out enough we got to watch a mama moose and her two calves grazing right in the backyard - amazing! We also saw salmon a five minute drive away at the Salmon Weir. Very clean, well stocked (in fact, extremely well stocked!) kitchen - how many VRBO's have a meat thermometer? Beds are great, two full bathrooms are also great. Great communication, very helpful host with suggestions for the area etc. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Seward and it were available. Great stay, great host, great property, great location!

Comfortable and clean

Place was clean and comfortable for our stay in Seward. There was air fresheners used that everyone in our group really struggled with so keep in mind if you have sensitive folks in your group.
