The ocean view was spectacular with teal waters and islands and mountains all around. The cabins are located in a cove, so it is safe for kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards, all available for use. They even provided dry suits for us. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. At night, it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly, going beyond to be helpful. One person even helped my son fish and clean the fish for us. He was so nice.

Summer Stay on Orca Island

We enjoyed our two-night stay at Orca Island. The location is epic in Resurrection Bay! The beauty surrounding the yurts is spectacular. We loved watching the seals, otters and birds from our deck. Remember, this is a yurt so it is a bit rustic with compost toilets. If you're staying here during the summer, bring an eye mask because the shades don't provide total darkness. You'll need to pack your own food, but there's adequate shopping in Seward. The yurt provided ample cooking tools, including a stove, oven and grill. We enjoyed kayaking, rowing and fishing from the island. At then end of the evening, we enjoyed a campfire with fellow guests. Our only complaint was the the row boats seemed to be in poor condition, but otherwise our stay was great fun!
