A rustic yurt, nestled back in the woods on the outskirts of town. It is named after a beloved dog, Porter. Access to electricity and a mini fridge. Test out your rustic living abilities with this cute little spot. Running water is not available but showers are available at the harbor and campgrounds in downtown Seward, several miles away. The bathroom is a very rustic outhouse with a curtain. It has electric a space heater, and a fan and stays nice and cozy during the cooler nights. You have access to a fire pit (when there is no burn ban in effect, and please use responsibly) and picnic table. The yurt is on the same property as my house, so expect some children’s toys in the yard, a friendly border collie, and a five year old running around the property. This is not the Ritz, but it is cozy and comfortable for anyone looking for something affordable, yet rustic.
