"I think it’s important to note that the roads are unpaved. We drove a small sports car and had difficulty on the last 2 miles heading in. It would also be great if there were solar motion activated lights at the driveway/walkway to the door. Overall, the house was cute and the outdoor spaces were great! There was no coffee for the coffee maker, the glassware assortment was strange and there were no wine or pint glasses, and the master bedroom comforter looked dirty. I think there is more good...

"Recovery from the Fall 2024 storm will be a challenge for Beech Mountain, but when it happens, this amazing cabin is a perfect launching spot for summer hiking! The Wild Iris Trail is just below the property and the woods overlooking that trail from the large deck are beautiful. Deer visit several times a day, and bear also stop by for visits - stealthy creatures who are there more often than you know. "The property was exactly as described on the website! The house was clean and tidy upon arrival, and was very comfortable. Justine was a fantastic host and was responsive to my messages before and during the stay. My group and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Beech Mountain!"
