We had a wonderful stay at the Bethel Inn. The staff is friendly and helpful. Upon checking in, we found we had been upgraded to a larger room with two queen beds instead of twins, had a fireplace and a lounge area. Very nice of them. We looked out over the golf course and had a nice sunset.
Ate dinner in the tavern and our food was delicious. We ate in the bar area which had a cozier atmosphere than the restaurant part. It was perfect for after a long day of skiing for us.

The outdoor pool is huge, the hot tub is right next to the pool and large enough to feel like you aren't rubbing elbows with strangers, the ski hill and lift are in the back drop and there is a bar poolside for those who want a drink (I don't drink so I can't attest to the quality of drinks). Friendly check in, marvelous guest lounge with cooking facilities, free coffee, tea, cocoa, couple hundred books, lots of land all around including woods(good for walking dog), comfortable roomand beds, microwave and frig real helpful to those who prefer, like us, eating in, All in all, it will be our go to place for future trips to visit Maine cousins!
