"Staying at a "guest house" was a new experience- private bedrooms, but shared bathrooms, kitchen & living area. Home-y to have cupboards full of needed utensils, system to label your personal food items by room#; pleasant decor, back deck to sit & sip morning tea. Extra bonus of meeting new people & having conversations with other residents/guests in the common area."

"Girls theater stay. Small house 3 floors 3 bdrm 1 in attic. All dble beds. Adequate for our needs. Clean for the most part. Beds floors etc. Drips and smears on kitchen cupboards that we cleaned up. "The rooms in our suite were lovely and the beds were comfortable. Our hosts showed us how to get to the theater as well as the building where breakfast was. We drove to both, but they were walking distance. I wasn't sure if we would be able to get breakfast because we had to leave relatively early, but even though it was made to order, they were quick in getting it to us. "It was the worst experience I ever had to face. The room reservation was confirmed to us over mai. Further we confirm our arrival a day in advance over phone, yet when we arrived there in the evening at 8:00 pm we found the place locked. There was a lady who upon seeing us took some stuff from the house and started the car and ran away. It looked like a shady house with complete darkness. We felt cheated and after this incident all I can say is that Expedia is not a trust worthy portal"

"I had a really bad experience. Check-in information wasn’t provided until 4:15 when it had previously been said that it would be at 3pm. When I arrived I discovered that the bed was broken- the bed frame was broken and the bed sagged to the point you could not sleep on it. When I informed them, it took 2 hours for them to look at it and get back to me, at which time they said it couldn’t be fixed and there were no other rooms available. "My husband and I spent three nights during our time in Stratford to see some plays. It was a lovely spot outside of town but still close enough to access everything needed within ten minutes or so. We enjoyed the comfort and peace and quiet. The hiking trail just up the road was an unexpected bonus! We'd definitely stay here again. "
