"We had a large group ranging in ages from 6 to early 50s stay for the Memorial Day weekend. We were up for a memorial service and a family reunion over the weekend in nearby Mifflintown. "The River House is a beautiful property. It is a gorgeous log home with the Susquehanna River as the backyard. The home was very clean and comfortable. The entire property is calm and relaxing. My husband was able to fish right on the river bank which was one of the main reasons for this trip. We also enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely return for a stay in the fall. Thank you!"

We felt at home immediately and were grateful for all the amenities that the home offered. Mary, our host, reached out via email regularly to check in and make sure we were enjoying our stay. We loved being able to sit on the porch and listen to the creek while drinking coffee, walk across to the water to fish or to just lay in the sun. Our dog, River, loved swimming in the creek too....
