"Breakfast had a vast variety; taste of limited vegetarian options could have been better. Was not impressed with the bakery freshness. Fruit was top notch. Rooms quite clean with standard wear and tear. Staff very friendly. Good overall location hence the price. Got given spa voucher for RMB200, turned out to be a discount on a RMB1980 massage. Wife asked for cafe for vegan cake for our anniversary; did not get much help; could not be arranged. First day we were not given special treatment for being Hilton Honours gold members at breakfast; second day they somehow remembered! Concierge was very very helpful. Food was easy to reach rooms when ordered via Mithuan app. Was charged RMB 98 each for each child’s swimming cap which was a rip off. (Had to buy 3)
Toilet got blocked on first day first hour but got sorted instantly. Had connecting rooms arranged on 2nd day as there was a 2 hour wait on 1st day for connecting rooms with family of 6. Did not really get the upgrade I expected for being a Hilton’s Gold member. Paid hotel booking for breakfast although it was included in my Gold membership but was not reimbursed. Paid roughly 90£ extra for 2 days. Swimming pool not as big as it looks in pictures."
