It is near a highway but is quiet in general. There are many restaurants on the street next to it. A few staff members seemed inexperienced and had great difficulty finding a package for me that was sent in advance. The shower gel bottle was almost empty, which was surprinsing. Other that these little things, the stay was good.

Everything is just under 5 stars. Good, but not great. I think some rooms could use some rennovation. And a staff member that was bussing tables at the buffet was coughing and sneezing all over the tables/silverware at breakfast one day. I'm sick now 🤒 Aside from those issues, great hotel! Plenty of stores and restaraunts nearby, and even a mall right next door, and Shanghai south tran station is a 15 min walk away.

I always like the Pullman Xuhui as it is perfectly located between Pudond and Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport/Train Station. Great rooms, spacious etc. The lack of a bar is a pity though...

Check in was fine. Room was large but hot and couldn’t get the ac working. Breakfast was aimed at Chinese customers so less for European travellers however I didn’t see any other Europeans in the hotel the entire trip. Couldn’t get a taxi and no one to help on 3 occasions

This hotel provided me very unpleasant experience.

This hotel gave me a very unpleasant experience. After checking out, I called for a ride-hailing service. Since I had to wait for 12 minutes, I wanted to find a place to sit and wait. Incredibly, the vast hotel lobby had no sofas. Naturally, I looked for a table in the lobby about ten steps away. As soon as I sat down, a waiter came over with the menu. The waiter gave me a disdainful look, indicating that I had to order something, or else I had to leave. It's not like I couldn't afford a cup of coffee, it's just that the attitude of the waiter was really disgusting. When I went to the front desk to complain, they didn't seem to care either. This attitude simply does not treat guests staying at this hotel as guests. I stay at five-star hotels in Shanghai for one or two weeks almost every month. Since my company just moved nearby, I wanted to experience this hotel this time. The result is that even if other hotels are further away from my company, I will definitely not stay here unless absolutely necessary.

少し古さを感じさせるホテルですが、敷地内にセブンイレブン（22時閉店）やマクドナルドがあります。 徒歩5分の場所に6階建てのショッピングセンターがあり買い物や食事に困りません。そのショッピングセンターから上海南駅に直結しています。 ホテル内にはATMもあります。 朝食は普通に美味しいですが、和食はありません。 上海の中心街まで地下鉄2本で約30分かかるので観光で使うホテルではないように思います。 現地決済を選びましたが、2泊約4万5千円のところ、デポジットで約2万5千円をプラスした、約7万円をカード決済されました。 チェックアウト10日後にきちんとデポジット分は戻ってきました。 禁煙ルームでタバコ臭はありませんでした。「喫煙したら約1万5千円を請求します」と書いてあるアクリルスタンドがありました。 フロントやレストランの従業員さん達は全く愛想がありませんが、中国では上の対応です。
