"Where to begin? We spent this Labour Day long weekend at Carol’s cottage and it was absolutely amazing. The cottage is exactly what we expected and more! We arrived Friday night, and took full advantage of the sun porch, the fairy lights were a nice touch and we were excited for next day! On Saturday, we explored Sharbot’s Lake and the farmers market where we bought local maple syrup before heading to the grocery store. Everything was within a short distance, even doing a few walks into town to explore. We made sure to get full use of the water toys, my son-in-law and I took the kayaks out around the bays for fishing and were surprised with how many bites we were getting and a lot of catch and releases near the island across the bay. My daughter ensured to soak up all of her time in the hammock, reading and checking to see where we were on the lake. The amenities were more than we expected, lots of plates, cups, mugs, and cookware. The stove worked amazing, as did the BBQ which we used quite a bit. We also had a few late night fires, and couldn’t get over how much we loved the firepit. All in all, we had an amazing weekend and thank you for hosting us via VRBO."
"The cottage was modern inside. Kitchen had all new appliances with great storage. The bathroom was nice and the back room was equipped with laundry and all cleaning supplies. The view of the lake from the cottage was amazing. We ate every meal on the deck outside so we could take it in. It was a similar view from the fire pit as well. They allowed us to bring our dog up which made the stay even more memorable. We enjoyed spending the day by the dock. It was a little cold to swim but we could tell there were no weeds or anything and it would have been really great for swimming. The lake is super quaint and calm as well. "

"Had an incredible two-night getaway with my wife! The cottage is very nice and clean with everything you need for an off-grid stay! The lake was very quiet and the floating dock was great for swimming. The standup paddle boards were a lot of fun to use! Westport is a nice little town near by if you need to pick anything up. Highly recommend this cottage rental and would book again in the future!"
