"This place was amazing. We go fishing annually and this was the best fishing spot we’ve been to hands down. Cabin was roomy, the only downfall was the hot water was broken in the trailer but he let us know and there was an outdoor shower with hot water. We caught so many fish it was crazy. Lots of variety, unlimited trout and catfish, 2 flounder, 1 shark, 2 blacks, 4 reds and 2 sting ray. In the shallow water around the camp we caught crabs to fish with and even caught 3 soft shell crabs for eating. "The open layout of the house was a perfect match for our group. Since we had zero issues while we were at the house, my only interactions with the host were before and after. The host was always prompt and friendly, answering any questions I had. The house has all the cookware, kitchen equipment and tableware you could need. It was so much better furnished with all the necessities than almost anywhere else we've stayed.We've been going to Matagorda Beach for many years now and rented at least half a dozen of the houses and condos down there. We all agreed this one is at the top of our list for our next trip. "

"We had 7 ladies from the Rod and Gun Club and our sig is called the "REEL LADIES". We loved the clean and excellent layout of all of the rooms. Especially the kitchen!Our hosts, even provided us with Mimosas when we first arrived and we had prepared a "bring along" dinner for our first night. The only thing that could be improved on is to provide the kitchen with a set of kitchen sissors. "
