"LaGrange is a nice little inn nestled in the woods about 25 minutes away from Hyde Park and the Culinary Institute of America ( where we brought our daughter for move in day ) . Driving up it’s not the Ritz Carlton , but go in the room ! Very clean , very roomy , very clean bathroom with a nice shower .. "Avoid staying there at all cost, it's better to sleep in your car than there! The stench throughout the building is nauseating, our room (the only one available) was incredibly filthy, thick dust and mold everywhere, flies roaming in the room; my wife had to clean some of the most disgusting areas (inside the fridge is a particular highlight). It looks like most of the people staying there live there long-term. Hoping to block those memories forever, but so far not succeeding. "

"The property was lovely and the property manager was very friendly and accommodating. The space was ample, beds were very comfortable, and the a/c kept us cool in the middle of a heat wave. Only issue was that the house had a very musty smell to it. Also, the coffee pot was filled with old coffee-apparently they forgot to clean it prior to our arrival. Otherwise a great stay!"

"The good: We had a great time staying here. The first and second floor are beautiful and very well maintained. Both bathrooms and three bedrooms are very clean and have more than enough bath and beach towels. The fire pit and kayaks are also a great touch.
