"It was wonderful to be able to walk to the wedding venue. The size of the property is great. Communication was very good with host. Nice to have the pub/German beer place right across the square. Parking was super easy. We think the decor could definitely use a refresh. Some footrests were ripped and paint needed touching up. Perhaps a refresh on the linens would be a good idea too. "Black Diamond Retreat was a wonderful place for a family gathering. Both indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and gave everyone room to spread out and wander. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit every evening and playing corn hole and bocci outside as well. Even though it seemed we were away in the middle of nowhere and very quiet, town was only a short drive away. Some of us did take and enjoy the Yuengling Brewery tour.
