Used as an overnight stop on our way south, location is good, a few minutes from the M1, Reception staff were very good, bed was very comfortable, only down side was the shower was in need of a deep clean, dirty grouting and rust stains. Breakfast was serve yourself, plenty full but not very hot.

My room was nice, food was lovely and staff incredibly friendly and helpful. It did feel like there was a shortage of staff in the evening and at breakfast ( long wait at the bar for the one member of staff to return from other activity) and had to clear my own breakfast table as no staff visible for quite a while and all tables either occupied or used. As I said, when I saw the staff they were lovely!
