Ibis Central was excellent, all-round value for money. Despite it being one of the hottest nights, the room was comfortable, bathroom practical and, unlike a lot of other more expensive establishments, the tv worked well! Furthermore, the staff were very helpful, checking a query on the local area at a late hour.

Stayed for 1 night on June 20th as we had tickets for Peter Kay. Never been to Sheffield before the staff were really helpful with transport to the arena and food options. When we came back the bar was open so that was a nice end to the evening. Great buffet breakfast too Highly recommend

We booked 2 rooms so that we could attend Tramlines at Hillsborough. Great hotel, room was fully cleaned while we were at breakfast! Lovely pleasant staff. We dropped off our bags and checked in later in the evening and there is a Q park car park outside the hotel. Very convenient

Jon and the rest of the staff were, as always, friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The building is beginning to show signs of wear, particularly the carpets and the bathroom, which could benefit from some refurbishment. Overall, however, we had a pleasant stay thanks to the excellent service provided by the staff.

Hotel was pretty clean and tidy, and all staff I spoke to were friendly. Only negative was the noise from outside and sink in bathroom struggled to drain away.

Unexpectedly good overnight stay! Incredibly cheap cost of shared twin - bed room delivered an excellent room small but perfectly adequate ( tea coffee&kettle provided.) Excellent bathroom . We arrived at the Ibis via the run down dreary site of the old market. Left via the tram bridge/ Ponds Forge which was much better. Paid extra for breakfast which was as good as other budget chain & better than some others. Would highly recommend .
