Stayed over after a works meal. The location is good but the hotel is tired. The bed/mattress was extremely uncomfortable and I did report it. You were in a grove and no support. The swimming pool is tiny and not worth it.

Perfectly city centre situated

Hotel could do with a bit of TLC but it is situated perfectly for city centre. Great walking distance for points of interest, pubs, restaurants and Bramhall Lane.

The rooms were a decent size and were very clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The onsite swimming pool was a bonus.

Staff were perfunctory; they don’t seem happy. Alina, however, was very kind and printed out our match tickets for us; we appreciated that. On checkout, we weren’t asked about our stay. Room was cleaned each day, but towels were missing, bin liner wasn’t replaced, toilet roll not replenished; the room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. The room was comfortable, but definitely on the warm side (there is a fan, though). The positives are the location and the size the room.
