"I paid over £200 for one night here. The experience was very poor. I chose it because the hotel is centrally located and has a decent pool. At check-in the receptionist was more interested in talking to her friend than in her customer. The room was clean, but very averagely furnished. "Rooms were quite big, the beds were comfy pillows were a bit uncomfortable. Quite disappointed that they only had one working elevator the first day then the second day both elevators were out of service, it’s not too bad if your room is on the first few floors but ours were on floor 9 so carrying your stuff up and down those stairs were horrible. Our second room had a blocked sink so my mates staying in that room had to use my room for washing their hands etc. Monday morning early hours today...

"The hotel is looking a bit tired and in need of an update.
The room was fine...no safe, furniture a bit tatty and some black mould around the bath/shower.
Only 1 dressing robe and slippers in the room, although booked as a couple.
Room service was a bit random. The sandwiche that arrived was not great, with a tired piece of lettuce, 2 small tomatoes and some tortilla chips.
Breakfast was again fine but nothing to write home about. The hot food had the air of being put out for the opening...

"Perfectly adequate stay. We were only there for a brief overnight stay for a graduation.
Booked 3 rooms. Twin room excellent, huge beds and bathroom, other double rooms a lower spec. Beds super comfy, very dark and well air conditioned rooms. Friendly and efficient reception staff. Parking included. Fast check in and checkout. Didn’t use bar or restaurant so can’t comment. Taxi ride into Uni and centre of town."

"Nothing wrong the aesthetics of the hotel and appeared clean. Staff were good. Just the second Marston’s Inn in a year that I’ve been bitten badly by bed bugs. Reported and hopefully will get sorted. 100% will not stay at another Marston’ Inn."
