"We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend with friends. The view was absolutely stunning. we loved sitting on the deck in the morning with coffee, just taking it all in. The atmosphere was peaceful and private, yet close enough to everything we needed. Communication with the host was easy and friendly, and they were so accommodating. We’re already talking about coming back again. it was truly the perfect escape! "

"This place offered the perfect getaway from the city, and I loved having the kayaks available for use! The house was clean and comfortable, and had everything I needed to cook. The outdoor area down by the river was peaceful despite the nearby highway, and when the water level is low earlier in the day you can walk the kayaks down to the water. Note that the current gets much stronger in late afternoon and water level rises, so don’t get stuck paddling home upstream. Learned that the hard way!"

"What a beautiful home and setting! A spacious 4 bedroom home sitting above the beautiful Chippewa river! Comfortable beds, a well equiped kitchen and a very nice outdoor space that included a fire ring! Angie was a wonderful host and maintained contact from the moment I booked with her! We visited wineries, parks, a mansion, waterfalls and other sites within a short drive of the house! I would highly recommend the Codax Retreat for a very nice get-a-way!"

"I booked this for my wedding party this passed weekend and we loved it! The property was very clean. We had no issues getting in and plenty of room for all of us. Jerry even let my hair stylist come in Saturday morning to do all of our hair and my photographer come in to take photos. We all had a wonderful time on the lake too! My wedding day was perfect.
