Great shot of Sunset Beach on Shelter Island from our boat, before heading closer to anchor and swim in. A beautiful little slice of Southern France right here on Long Island Sound! If you get a chance, definitely check this place out.
A beach cafe was airlifted from the South of France and dropped onto this sandy beach on Shelter Island -- complete with pouty-lipped, summer turtle-neck-wearing, aloof, and decorative French serving girls and bar tenderesses. It's quite a see and be scene with a rooftop driftwood bar and dining. Pâté, gzpacho, moule frite, and a cold glass of summer Rosé. It's worth a boat ride from Sag Harbor.
