"It was okay. No a/c in the hottest part of the year and when ice and wind from the sliding door is the only thing that makes it bearable. Check in was easy but the first room lights didnt work. They switched us to smaller room and it was okay. "

"I absolutely love this hotel! I originally discovered it by accident on my way south on I-5. I was traveling solo and looking for a nice hotel that I could check into late. As I drove the 20 minutes off the highway I was a bit nervous but once I arrived at the hotel I was delighted to find how safe and clean it was. This is my second stay and it is 100% worth the 20 minutes drive west of I-5. The rooms are sparkling clean, spacious, and newly renovated. Despite the fact that this hotel is also a Casino it is super quiet and peaceful. This was my first time here traveling with kids and even my Grand girls (age 5 & 9) commented on how beautiful the room was. I checked in at midnight after a long flight and enroute to the coast. The front desk was helpful and so friendly. The beds are incredibly comfortable, so much so that as I write this at 9 am my granddaughters are still blissfully asleep. Also the nightly rate is incredibly reasonable. I would expect to pay at least $50 more per night for this caliber of hotel. Highly recommended!!!"

"My stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tacoma was excellent overall. The room was clean, the environment was quiet, and the staff were professional and courteous. The only downside was the limited parking, especially challenging for larger vehicles like my pickup truck. Despite this, the quality of the stay outweighed the inconvenience. I would recommend this hotel and plan to return when visiting Tacoma."
