Nice staff but off the beaten track

Good news, the bed is soft and the service is great, not so good news, the Hotel has a KTV club (karaoke) which is loud and the corridors are also noisy into the early hours of the morning. Worst news, the Hotel is on "the wrong side of the tracks" which is to say that it is on the far side of a motorway Clover junction from where the night life/ bars / restaurants are. Taxi drivers don't like to take you there as they get lost and walking the couple of miles could be very confusing too.

전시장에서 도보로 가능한 호텔

일단 전시장에서 도보로 가능해서 만족입니다. 호텔 시설은 전반적으로 중 정도로 봐야겠네요. 심천 물가가 많이 올라서요. 프런트 직원중 영어가능한 인원이 별로 없어서 조금 불편하기 했지만 그 때 마다 가능한 직원이 와줘서 큰 문제는 없었네요.

Clean, Comfy Room but need Chinese language skills

The Grand Chu hotel is located in the central area of Futian ... no train stations nearby, but many taxis passing by and easy access to all other parts of Shenzhen. The rooms themselves are very clean and modern, including the bathroom. Not extremely large (about 25m^2) but comfortable for a single person staying, and the bed was soft and comfortable (a rarity in China). Maybe because there was no window room, the room felt damp after a shower, even with the airconditioning turned on. Most of the staff spoke limited (ie. none) English but I had limited mandarin skills which was fine.

Nightmare

I paid USD160 a night for this place and expect a decent place to stay overnight. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. Expedia rated this place as 4 stars. I would give this place 1 star just because the staffs were helpful. My room came with a box spring and 1 inch thick mattress. Dirty shower/bathroom. No condiment, you will have to pay CNY10 which is not much, about USD1.60. Also, i found a cockroach on the floor. This place disgusts me and I will not come back to the same hotel.

Данный отель расположен вблизи Кока-парка, где много инфраструктурных объектов делового центра: банки,офисы учреждений, торговые центры, линия () улица) ресторанов и кафе с европейской и азиатской кухней, крупный спа-салон. Стоимость поездки на такси небольшая.В номере отеля очень чисто, в отличие от его ресторанов. Кухня специфическая на любителя,в меню нет перевода составляющих ингредиентов блюда на англ.язык. Очень слабая Интернет-связь. WiFi можно пользоваться только в лобби отеля,в номере нет.

Chambre supérieure (avec fenêtre) confortable et suffisamment spacieuse. Petit frigo disponible dans la chambre Restauration possible dans l'hôtel (correct). Proche de Coco park (17min à pied), pratique pour accéder à des restaurants un peu plus "européens" ainsi que de nombreux magasins (supermarché Carrefour, entre autres) ;-). Les seules ombres au tableau : 1- le personnel ne parle pas anglais, à part 1 ou 2 personnes mais assez difficiles à comprendre et pas toujours disponibles à la réception. 2- Pas de balance dans l'hôtel ou dans la chambre, prévoir un peson pour les bagages le jour du départ, histoire de ne pas avoir de mauvaise surprise à l'aéroport. 3- pas de wifi mais de l'ethernet et connexion pas très rapide

Overall location is ok.

This is the first time I stay in such namely a 4 star hotel, I have book 4 rooms and stayed for 3 days, All our friends was very totally not satisfied with the lift, we stayed at the 7th floor and 11th floor, just can't imagine we were in hurry but the lift never stop at our floor, waited for 20mins, overall only the room is ok, at the chinese restaurant all staffs atitude need to be well train, they are very rude. I will never come back to stay in this hotel, we can rate them not even 1 2star.
