Hotel is centrally located and convenient for dining and shopping. It’s a non smoking room, but it smells of smoke and mildew. Had a headache staying in the room with the smell, being a non smoker myself.

AC in my room did not work, Internet is extremely spotty, black mold in the bathroom. Staff is pleasant and seemed to be very embarrassed about the issues. It seems that the management of the hotels is very poor. Not worth the money they charge. It's particularly problematic if you travel for business.

Loses lighting system . Never know when a where switch should be engage . The switches labeling really show the age of the building . Breakfast food was exceptionally substandard . Fortunately the staffs in general was great and helpful Food was always lukewarm though one saw the food was just cooked and displayed for customers. On Sunday 28th Jan there were some events at the hotel in the evening. As guests of the hotel, we struggled to use the lifts as there was large crowd streaming through the lobby and heading to the events. Some sort crowd control should be in place. This is probably the only unpleasant experience I have encountered at the hotel but a significantly unpleasant one.

Don’t think I will stay here again. Hotel is old and run down. I was told there will be construction a day after I checked in. The construction was right on top of my room and started 7AM and last throughout the day, including weekend. There were no offer to switch me to a different room when the hotel was clearly not busy with much vacancy. Also, the AC was not working. No matter what you set it to, it stays at 25C. So annoying.

Impressive customer service. It is likely unprecedented for them having a guest that rented an ebike and had no where to park. I am impressed that they went out of the way to find a safe place for me to park. As Ebike wasn't allowed near the hotel lobby and they bothered to let their staffs know that there is this crazy guest with rented ebike so I am not stopped everytime I ride to the parking area.

Being a smoke free hotel, I would expect the room should have no cigarette smell. Room 2225 is full of it. Room 2221 is fine thou. Even the washroom on the lobby floor is filled with cigarette smell. If you are sensative to smell and hate cigarette smell, don't stay here. You will run into risk of having a room with cigarette smell.
