"Nice property"

"Check-in was easy, but things went downhill quickly, the neighborhood was not great, the entry way to the house was littered with trash from overflowing garbage cans and cigarette butts all over the back yard and deck. The interior was cleaner but not great. The house amenities were very limited, ex no coffee maker, 1 useable pan, no spatula etc, etc. The host did respond and had someone come and clean up the trash."

"Had a lovely 4 night stay at Hawks Barn. It is a real home from home and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Awesome location for visiting the many sights the area has to offer, would have loved to have stayed longer."

"The owners of this property have done a fantastic job with the use of space, however the bed arrangements require a full review. The mattress was so uncomfortable I had little sleep the first night, and the second night we actually went home because we could not sleep again. The bed clothing also needs to be renewed, as we could not help but think that it was dirty, although it was not! There is also easy access for slugs, and these were constantly found during our stay."

"The property was really lovely, well presented, clean and had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. The only thing that I couldn't understand was that there wasn't a door on the third bedroom, the description of the property states that the bathroom was to be shared by the third and fourth bedrooms so I couldn't quite understand why the door wasn't put on the bedroom as there was no privacy? The other two bedrooms had en-suites so it didn't affect them. Maybe a review of that layout...

"There were 7 of us staying for the weekend & we had a lovely time. House and garden really comfortable, everything we needed. The only negative was there wasn’t an instruction leaflet to tell us re WiFi, bins, how to use the hot tap, cooker, hob etc, which would have been handy rather than needing to interrupt the host or navigating ourselves. Otherwise a lovely stay and would recommend. "
