"Another Perfect Fall Getaway! Just returned from my 5th year in a row at Shadowland River Lodge and as usual, it was the perfect experience! Jason and Nicole are the absolute best hosts, and this year, the new hot tub just added to the total relaxation and zen of the property. We ventured out this year to do wine tastings on both peninsulas as well as one of the local cruises on the water to enjoy the beautiful October scenery. The best part of venturing out during the day is returning to the house in the evening for the hot tub, fire pit and cozy fireplace in the living room. My dogs seem to sense when we are close by on the drive in every year and start howling in the car with delight. The feeling of peace and relaxation keep me coming back every year! Thank you again Jason & Nicole for your warm hospitality. Looking forward to returning next year, already! "

"The cabin was a peaceful, quiet place to stay near Fife Lake, near Traverse City. There were many beautiful walking trails right around the corner, and the cabin itself was warm, inviting, and loved the vibe and decor. I had the best night's sleep!!! The hosts were always available with any questions about the area and the cabin itself. I would love to come again and recommend for a peaceful, beautiful get-away in the woods!!!"
