Tudor Lodge

"This was our favorite stay in our travels across Ireland. It is a great location especially if you plan on hiking in Wicklow/Glendalough. It was a quiet, well maintained property. Now, there are employees on site during certain times of day so one call out is to pay close attention to your emails as you will get information to access to lodge remotely. The family room with en-suite bathroom was perfect for our family and the room was sizable which is such a welcome surprise when in Europe. And the breakfast at the lodge was awesome! Many continental breakfast choices as well as hot breakfast - the full Irish Breakfast was delicious and the service we received was top notch. I highly recommend this gem."

"Beautiful location, friendly staff and nice restaurant with variety of food options. But rooms are outdated. We stayed at newer building where the Smokehouse is, so can't say anything about main building and how well it maintained."

"Bedroom was a really good size. Good storage space with a safe and fridge. The bathroom had both a bath and separate shower. Really good choice of Gluten Free food available both for breakfast and evening meals."

THE OLD WHITE COTTAGE, pet friendly in Shillelagh, County Wicklow

"Overall we had a lovely stay at the Cottage, the beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you needed, on the down side the garden was very over grown, the cottage was very cold but did heat well with heating on just couldn’t get the radiator to work in the twin room so my mother was cold at night, and the bathroom did smell of damp quiet badly… but on a whole nice cottage, but done up could be absolutely stunning and perfect, would like to say the welcome basket was a lovely touch and nice surprise… "
