"This is a historic hotel and you can read about it in an area near the hotel called The Club, but the best feature of this hotel is the sunset view. The sunset view is so beautiful and you can see it either from your room or from the lounge at 5F. The staffs are very welcoming and wonderful. This is one of the best places we've been to where you can just relax and watch the day pass in your room in the middle of beautiful nature. We will definitely be back again."

"The staff have been very friendly and helpful both times I’ve stayed, the beds are the most comfortable I’ve ever had at a hotel, and the location is lovely. It’s better to bring food with you as there is not much to eat around if you don’t have a car, and the taxi to/from Ugata station is about 2000 yen. The pool is a perfect depth for small children. Love the old fashioned bathtub but children and the elderly might need some help getting in and out. We will definitely be coming back!"

"Beautiful and well maintained property, I really felt like I was in some Mediterranean country and not Japan. We had the course dinner at their French restaurant which was excellent, Michelin Star quality. It’s a bit tricky to get to but if you have a car this is a great place spend a few days and decompress. "

"Great hotel to stay at in Toba. Location is close to the train station as well as other activities including the Mikimoto Pearl Island and the Toba Aquarium. "Staff was helpful, especially patient with my language barrier. The room was clean except for behind the tv console. The building is pretty old but in good repair. Not close to stores or restaurants, but is close to the beach visible from the balcony outside my room. They have arcade games for children and ping pong for older ones. Very comfortable, large room with both western and Japanese options for sleeping."
