"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. "The Celecton is a nice, standard Japanese hotel. The rooms are small, but they are practical, very clean and amenities are good. If you want a hotel that is close to the Castle then this is a good one, but it is 10-15 minutes walk to the train station, restaurants, and the other attractions in Matsumoto. My room was facing the Castle but directly above a busy road, so it was quite noisy."
