Set on a hill, you have a gorgeous view of nearby mountains and fields. Very quiet room, did not hear anyone else in the halls. Hot and cold breakfast had lots of options. Dunkin Donuts was a short walk and located in the front of the hotel. Very comfortable mattresses is a big plus for us!

It was a little further than stated to get to Gettysburg but the ride to Gettysburg took us thru some amazing apple orchards and tree farms. The local pubs were very good food was incredible. First night we saw 3 horse and buggys, which was awesome. The staff was very helpful and breakfast was great.

The house is absolutely beautiful and has a museum within it of civil war artifacts. Laura and Ronald were amazing hosts and the food was delicious. Highly recommend staying here. 10/10! I canāt wait to go back.

The location was excellent, near downtown and with a parking garage next door. The rooms were great! We stayed in two, a queen sized bedroom on the third floor and a king sized bedroom on the second floor. Both were very quiet, very comfortable, and not your standard bland hotel room yet had very modern conveniences. The breakfasts served were delicious--someone took a great deal of care to make sure the fresh fruit was ripe and tasty, and the eggs and french toast were very good.

Going to the Ref Cardinal is like visiting your favorite Aunt and Uncleās house. Bill and Joanne have been doing this for a while and it shows. Joanne cooks up an unbelievable breakfast and both are great conversationalists. There goal is to make you feel like you are one of the family and I can say we truly felt that way. We had to visit Gettysburg College for our daughterās XC meet which was only about 20 miles away.

The front desk girl was stuffing her face with food and licked her fingers before asking for my ID. No hello. No please. No thank you. It was loud due to all the motorcycles and needed her to repeat her spearhead on breakfast and pool hours, she almost screamed it unfriendly like. Shame because the room was wonderful!
