"I absolutely loved my stay at Mountolive Studio. The biggest highlight for me was being able to completely let my guard down and enjoy walking and exploring with my dog without constantly worrying about running into off-lead dogs. The huge, securely fenced area attached to the studio gave him so much freedom to run and play, and the entire property is enormous and such a joy to explore together.
The natural beauty of the property is incredible. I especially loved the giant boulders that have been preserved and thoughtfully incorporated into the gardens rather than removed. They create these beautiful focal points and gave the whole place a real sense of awe and wonder.
The studio itself is stunning. I had the fire roaring the entire stay, which made it feel so cosy, and the entrance features gently trickling water that you can hear from the bed—so peaceful and relaxing. The spa, surrounded by lush plants, was the perfect place to unwind.
This was the first time in a long while that I truly felt able to switch off and relax. It was the perfect reset for both me and my dog, and I can't wait to come back."
