(There was no wine opener though, so I bought one and left in the drawer - probably taken by previous renter)Only downfall was that the town of Suwannee is still recovering from the hurricanes, so limited restaurants nearby and the channels for boating are compromised, so hard to navigate."

"A very interesting and well kept hotel and restaurant. The staff was friendly. They rooms were clean and comfortable. The food and service at the restaurant was excellent. The grounds outside were very pleasant, with peacocks and guineas roaming about. An aviary and a nice patio area with a large fountain. Very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. We definitely will return again "

"Property was great considering the recent hurricanes. Definitely still some external damage...and a colony of bats had taken up residence in a couple of external walls. But overall the place was great, and the view was spectacular."

"We had a great time at the Otter House. The living room and kitchen is a big open floor plan with tons of seating. Beds were very comfortable. Nice TV and great channel selections avaliable. Loved the dock and amenities. We ate atTreasureCamp restaurant down the street. Amazing food. I would highly recommend this place. Lots of fun. "
