A great restaurant right next door puts the frosting on the Cake. The Suwannee River Cruise gives you extremely interesting insight into the history of the river, and views of manatees, alligators, otters and so much morel."

"This place was absolute perfection from the second we walked until we walked out. The friendliest staff and owners. Super comfortable beds and a delicious fine dining steak house right in the building. The grounds are stunning with peacocks, bamboo and a stunning fountain with seating all around. I couldn’t believe how good of a deal the Putnam Lodge. If I could give 10/5 stars!!!!!!!"

"My stay at this charming village hotel on the Suwannee River near Chiefland was truly delightful. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and I especially enjoyed relaxing on the screened porch. The private dock was perfect for fishing, and the on-site restaurant exceeded my expectations—breakfast biscuits were absolutely delicious!
