"The hotel reception was close when we arrived and then there is no telephone in the room to call reception for any help. The light kept going off in the room. Was not worth the price"
"We stayed at the hotel just two weeks after it opened. It is a beautiful property with a lovely outdoor terrace and a very nice swimming pool. The breakfast mainly features organic food. The buffet isn't large, but it was more than sufficient for our taste.
The only drawback was finding the hotel. The entrance is simply a door in a wall, with no visible signage and very little information available. We actually drove around the town twice before finally finding it, which added almost an hour to...
"Almost excellent. Charming. Beautifully decorated. Convenient to Aarhus & Silkeborg. Rooms could have used a lick of fresh paint and bathrooms needed updating. Also a vacuum in the hallway. Dinner in the dining room was very well prepared, albeit with a limited menu. Could easily be so much more. Still, we enjoyed it more than the star ratings suggest. So romantic!"
"Ok I get that hotels in Denmark are more expensive than others but this one was not inexpensive. Clearly focussed and providing accomodation for the large number of corporates in this area so this place is more like a dormitory than a hotel. It had no ventilation so was oppressively hot and stuffy. Then the shower drain...
"The location with beach access and sea views are the star of this hotel. Food and drinks were basic. Sea view rooms become saunas unless you leave both interior and exterior doors open to allow for an air flow opportunity. This hotel does not have laundry facilities as listed, but rather a room with irons set up.
Staff seemed to be 'busy' and overwhelmed, every request for service was met with as sense of inconvenience."
