"I stayed here in February this year and while the hotel itself was lovely, the location great and a reasonable price for its location, there some niggles with service and the lifts that meant i gave it 3 stars. I am delighted to report that on this second visit the feedback Gave to the hotel directly has been taken onboard and all the issues I had were addressed. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and you would be hard pressed to find a comparable hotel in a central location cheaper."

"The Strand Plaza is in a great location and is an excellent hotel. One thing, I asked for a taxi and got a car with driver. Triple the amount to the bus station at 4am. I wasn’t too pleased with that."

"Amazing hotel by Victoria station which was super convenient as it is a transportation hub with buses, trains etc. Lots of restaurants and take out options and walkable to Westminster and Buckingham. The hotel itself is newly renovated, modern, clean, and our room was spacious. Breakfast included was a plus with lots of options. Would highly recommend the Riu hotel."
