"Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Hotel is under going improvements and remodeling so there were rolls of carpet in the hallways but everything very well maintained. Room comfortable, well furnished (including mini refrigerator and microwave) and large in size. Bed comfortable. AC worked well and much needed given outdoor temperatures. Bathroom is a bit cozy :) (aka small). Location perfect for nearby family reunion. Did not use pool but it looked amazing. Also did not try free...

"Our room was very damp and had a musty smell because of this. Our bed felt wet sleeping in it. The hotel for the most part is decent but definitely in need of some maintenance. The pool area was showing its age (cracks/holes in hot tub grout, metal rusting). Breakfast was pretty good."

"While this is a nice building, etc... I had booked because there was a bar and restaurant on site. It was 4th of July weekend when I arrived. I was told breakfast would not be served due to the holiday. When I then asked if the restaurant was open for dinner, I was told it was not because the chef quit and was told there was a restaurant in the hotel next door. So my last question was if the bar would be open - which I was told "I think so" ... it was not open. No offer to make this right in any...
