"Comfortable and quiet hotel. Well situated and good free bus connections on Leicester hopper to the city and station. Feels new and looked after. Parking is limited at the hotel but nearby hospital pay and display car park could be used. We wanted quiet and the room was soundproofed. Nice bathroom. Developed a rash from the bed and reception moved us to a new room. The staff member suggested it was maybe cleaning products used by linen company. Hotel did say they would update us via email but...

Leisure centre only opens at 8.30am after business guest had left and closed at 7.30pm. Suggest dont order the bar food. But would stay again for price location and peace and quier. "Charming property but is essentially an old house so the rooms are smaller than your typical 4 star. Food was good if a little overpriced. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I’d go back again just for the peace and quiet. They and I have a pool and other facilities in an adjacent building too. Overall recommended, for a quiet and romantic retreat. "

"Room was spacious and clean, staff were all really lovely. I had an issue at first and got moved straight away. Breakfast was great tho a little weird with having to get coffee from the bar area and not the breakfast restaurant. No expedia gold rewards offered at all tho and note the coffee facilities are just a kettle which is disappointing for a hotel like this."
