"Helpful, friendly, efficient staff throughout. Helpful info displayed at reception re when to expect breakfast to be busy. Tables cleared quickly for next guest at breakfast, good staffing levels. Very good value for money, would happily stay again."

"The hotel was clean and facilities generally good, although beds not overly comfortable. Staff very friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good as was the parking. I would use the hotel again in the future. Our stay was spoiled slightly by other noisy guests and unsupervised children in the restaurant and running in the corridors in the early hours. This was not the hotel’s fault. Good location"

"The reason we chose the Royal Ashton was that they allow pets (for a fee) The room are clean and have good beds. But this hotel has been very ambitious in cramming as many rooms as possible in an old building!"
