Very friendly staff and property was in a good location. Room service daily and always left the room very clean. If I visit Roi Et again I will use this hotel.

This was comfortable to sleep. It was cheep and if looking for a place to crash this works. There are no frills and it's very basic.

It not all culture and museums. Sometimes it just fun and games. Photo taken at Roi Et, Thailand. The town is built around an artificial island and lake. Among its attraction is a large standing Buddha, the tallest in Thailand and the Loy Krathong Festival. The town is rarely visited by western tourists. Which is a pity because it is actually a pleasant city.

This standing 60meter high Buddha is the highest standing Buddha in Thailand. The inside is hollow and it is possible to climb to the top. However it was not open when I was there. In comparison the big Buddha at Wat Intharawihan is 32 metres high.
