The Cumberland, London

The Cumberland, London

8/10 Good
"Third time here as the hotel is a great base for central London. The staff were all lovely, especially those on the front door and at the luggage room. We had an executive king room which gave us access to the VIP lounge. The lounge has moved since our last visit. We only used it briefly in the mornings and evenings so we can’t comment on other times of the day, but the room is now far too small for the number of guests. The breakfast bites were good as were the drinks but there is no longer a menu for a range of evening snacks. Instead guests are offered one plateful each of a fixed selection of small canapés. The complimentary mini bar in our room contained one beer one can of coke and three bottles of water (for 2 people) and was not refilled after the first day."
