It looks elegant from the outside and the front desk people are friendly and engaging. It was generally quiet throughout the building despite a conference going on there at the time. There are two restaurants which are subpar. The main restaurant was only open during noon hours and up through 2:30. I walked in there during these times and was never served so I left. The food is mediocre at best and the breakfast was terrible and largely inedible. There are also limited choices nearby. I won't be back.

Hotel excellent. Il est situé entre le centre ville de Siem Reap et l'entrée des temples d'Angkor. Quelques restaurants locaux non loin de la. Situation ideal pour visiter Siem Reap et les temples donc. Le petit dejeuner buffet est tres varié et d'excellente qualité. Service haut de gamme pour cet hotel qui propose beaucoup de services (Transfert aeroport, spa, bar piscine, etc...) Pour finir le personnel est tres gentil et accueillant .

We had a wonderful experience staying at Regency Angkor. The customer service was excellent and we were fortunate to check-in early after our long haul flight. We were provided a cold towel and bottle of water from our Airport Pickup driver which was a very nice touch. The staff took initiative to explain to us the location of the hotel and offer tips on where to visit during our stay. The room/pool/spa were also in a great condition. The buffet breakfast had a great range of choices. We recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

Mycket nöjd!

Mycket trevlig personal! Vi blev uppgraderade och fick sviten. Vår lille son fyllde ett år under vistelsen och vi bad om en bananpannkakstårta levererat till rummet kl. 6 på morgonen. De hade skrivit hela hans namn och datum på tårta med grattis text och så fick vi födelsedagsljus på den. De har vart toppen mot oss. Rekommenderas varmt. Tyvärr tyckte vi inte att restaurangen hade speciellt god mat men de är bara att ta en tuk tuk för 2 dollar till nattmarknaden på fem minuter, där finns de gott om utbud.

hard bed, smelly hall way, rubbish seen from hall

We could see rubbish in garbage bags piles up on the other side of a wall near the pool when you look out from the smelly hall way window. Twice the waiters brought us the wrong cocktails which always tasted like margaritas because they had poor english. The breakfast catered well for all the noisey Chinese guests with most selections for them. We were never offered bacon for breakfast but got by. We tried to organise a free hotel pick up from the airport as advertised on the day we were to arrive but couldn't get through to the phone. We contacted expedia who didn't organise this/get through either. We got a free transfer from hotel to airport but only because we asked. The hotel staff could have emailed us via expedia to offer us a transfer before the stay, that would have given us a good first impression. The pool was nice. The water fountain in the front was only on one morning during our stay and looked great during that brief time it was on.

O hotel é grande e suntuoso, mas poderia trazer um pouco mais de conforto nos quartos. Tivemos problemas com o aquecimento do chuveiro no primeiro dia de estadia, mas foi prontamente resolvido pela assistência técnica do hotel. Great hotel and staff, close to everything

My stay at the Recency Angkor was AMAZING. The staff was super friendly, I got a room upgrade without even having to say anything as they didn't have the room I originally booked. The breakfast was fantastic. My friends got married here and the hotel put on an absolutely beautiful ceremony and reception! If I get the chance to come back I would definitely stay here again.

壁が薄いホテル

壁が薄いので、隣の部屋の声が全て聞こえて来た。 隣が中国人でとてもうるさくて寝られたもんではなかった。 西洋人の方があまりにも隣の部屋がうるさくて昨晩寝れなかったから、部屋を変えてくれとフロントに伝えていた。 それ以外だと、フロントの対応など、申し分の無いサービスだった。

Top mit kleinen Makeln

Wir waren zur Besichtigung der Angkor Tempelanlagen in Siem Reap. Die Abholung vom Flughafen hat nicht ganz funktioniert obwohl ich dem Hotel Flug und Zeit per Mail mitgeteilt hatte. Aber nach einem Anruf im Hotel war 10 Minuten später ein Fahrer da. Als Entschuldigung haben wir ein Upgrade auf ein höherwertigeres Zimmer bekommen. Hier war alles super. Sehr gutes Bett, alles was man braucht war vorhanden. Der einzige Nachteil war die Lage zur Vorderseite. Hier befindet sich die Strase und ein neuer Nachtmarkt ist nur einige Meter seitlich vom Hotel. Da die Fenster die schallisolierende Wirkung einer Zeitungsseite haben hatte man schon öfter das Gefühl die LKW fahren durchs Zimmer und die Party findet im Nebenraum statt. Da wir aber beide gut schlafen können und von den Touren eh ziemlich fertig waren hat es uns nicht sehr gestört. Lärmempfindlichere Besucher sollten aber auf alle Fälle ein Zimmer auf der Rückseite buchen. Sehr positiv möchte ich noch einmal den Service hervorheben. Kellner, Rezeption, Concierge, Bar.... Alle sehr sehr freundlich und immer sehr hilfsbereit !!! Bei der Abreise war dann wieder das am Vorabend für 6 Uhr gebuchte Fahrzeug für den Flughafentransfer nicht da war. Aber auch das war nach 20 Minuten gelöst und wir waren noch gut in der Zeit am Airport. Wenn wir Siem Reap noch mal besuchen kommen wir sicher wieder her. Sehr zu empfehlen ist übrigens ein Besuch auf dem alten Markt. Einfach mit dem Tuktuk immer gerade aus, 3 Dollar. Auch sehr gutes Essen

Great hotel and service

We stayed for a week as we visited Siem Reap to see Angkor Wat and the other surrounding temples. All of the hotel staff were incredibly helpful, courteous, and friendly. Our next door neighbors were a little loud on the first night of our stay and the hotel front desk clerk was very understanding and helpful in moving us to a different room for the rest of our stay. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and the rooms are very comfortable. The concierges were always willing to assist us with transportation and restaurant reservations when we went out. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Siem Reap.

The hotel was great, location wise a little away from main town center. Sengy, who met us when we arrived, greeted us with politeness and gave a warm welcome. He was very knowledgeable and guided us well towards various activities. He even got us a guide to the Angkor Wat temples in spite of the busy tourist season.

Good hotel but in needs for renovation

A slight disappointment during our trip through Vietnam and Cambodia. the Regency Angkor Hotel had lots of potential but is, unfortunately, showing its age. The decoration is what it is, taste is subjective but I would say it is dated compare to nowadays standards. Condition of the room is the same, definitely very clean and we had no problem sleeping there, but walls showed some damages, paint chipped, bathroom seals are old. Then the swimming pool was just decent. Long chairs were dirty and old again, jacuzzis were not working and the water inside looked dirty (as if it has been there for too long). We did not mind so much as we only used this hotel to sleep at night and were out most of the time, also the price was reasonable compare to others. Our room also happened to be on the ground floor, just facing the bar. It had been a little bit noisy because of that. Breakfasts had also been a disappointing experience, the room is huge but the number of people was overwhelming. Automatically, there was not enough tables for everyone, people started to get aggressive and waiters were overwhelmed.
