  • This newly renovated two bedroom/two bath condo accommodates four comfortably and offers tropical décor and tile throughout. Once inside you will find a fully equipped kitchen with updated appliances and a separate laundry area. The living room/dining room combination offers a dinette for four, extra seating at the breakfast bar, a LCD Flat Panel TV, DVD Player, and new leather furniture. Enjoy the beautiful Siesta Key sunset from your own private balcony off of the living room area. The bedrooms boast new furnishings with the guest room containing 1 twin and 1 double, and a king in the master. The master also has an attached bath, as well as a Flat Panel TV and two walk in closets…with all the amenities this condo has to offer you will not be disappointed. This unit is equipped for up to 4 persons.

Beautiful Condo on a Beautiful Beach

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. It was decorated with a beach theme and very clean. It had everything we needed except beach towels. We had to buy those. It is located right on Siesta Key beach. The sand on the beach was so soft and the water was clear and beautiful. We walked across the street to eat, shop, and listen to music. We also went kayaking in mangroves and saw a dolphin. I hope to visit again and stay in the same place. I will definitely recommend to my family and friends.

Unwind and Relax!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House of the Sun was a recommendation from a good friend. Each condo is different and ours was absolutely beautiful. It felt like home. The furniture was comfortable, the bed and pillows, as well, which is always important! I love the way the owners decorated it. We own a condo In Maine on the ocean and I took pictures to bring home with me I will be redecorating soon! The only thing that I will say yes this was our first trip in January and I would not go at this time again. We only got about five days on the beach or by the pool during our 13 days there. It was simply too chilly with the temperatures ranging from mid 60s to mid 70s when of course we were outside. Also, the location was a little bit too crowded for us even though it’s not, some what we were told, not too bad while we were there. As far as the accommodations I have nothing negative to say at all. We were more than happy and if we do come back it would more than likely be in October with our friends. Thank you so much for a delightful time! Although we didn’t spend time or not a lot on the beach there are many other things to do.

Beautiful Property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed many years at House of the Sun. The property is always clean and safe. The unit, itself, is pretty and it's always nice to have a washer/dryer. We were very disappointed, however, that the grills had been vandalized prior to our stay and there was only one burner on one grill that worked. Having purchased and brought a lot of meat to grill for our extended family vacation, this was difficult. Many people expressed their anger as we all had to wait hours for the one burner. We asked the office to buy a new grill but they said some were on order and they had no idea when they were going to come in.

The condo had been advertised as updated but the appliance had not been. And the one point we had the most trouble with was the washer and dryer. They took forever! Other than that the furnishings of the condo were first rate and would definitely stay again.

A "Frat House" at Xmas/New Years

The property was very nice, but this location is not for those looking for a peaceful Siesta Key experience. While our Condo was very nice, there was an almost constant noise of people (young children and young adults) in the hallways. If you're not on the top floor, expect plenty of noise from people moving chairs around on the tile floor and from the sound of heavy-footed people walking around in the unit above you. The all concrete construction of the building and the tile floors within the condos transfer noise.
