Amazing Vacation

The pictures don’t do this place justice! It was perfect in every way! A short walk to the beach and a few houses to the pool! Lots of room inside the Villa made it easy to relax when we came in from the sun! We can’t wait to come back!!

Wonderful experience!

We were a party of 5, ages 65 - 94. There were two bedrooms and a sofa bed which met our sleeping needs, a nice kitchen (we made all of our meals there), and a very open, large living room/dining area. The beach was a short, beautiful “avenue” of a walk ON premesis… and a very large pool as well. Super clean, too!!! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Excellent value for a small family

My wife and I stayed for 4 days/3 nights at this property in early February with our older teen daughter. We found the staff very easy to work with. The bungalow is part of a complex of other bungalows and apartments called the Island House Beach Resort with a main office, but we didn't find it an issue at all. If you are checking in or out early or late, just make arrangements with the front office. They worked with us easily to accommodate our needs. The use the "Hospitality" app to communicate a lot of info about your stay, and they emailed us links to get access. Everything was pretty seamless. It seemed to be a nice, quiet community. Beach lounge chairs and more "regular" beach chairs were provided on our section of the beach. The road within the complex was quiet, clean, and very safe. We loved the feeling of the place. The beach was an easy 2 minute or less walk from our front door. The sand is amazingly white and soft, and we enjoyed walking and sitting on the beach with the beautiful sunsets. The palm trees and atmosphere were exactly what we needed for a wonderful time. The palm trees and clean lawns were very relaxing as well. The bungalow itself was also very clean. They are a bit older buildings, probably built a few decades ago originally. They've done a great job remodeling with a nice kitchen and bathrooms and fresh paint throughout. They worked well and had everything we needed. The few cons were mostly related to the age of the building. A little dark in the evening, the light bulbs were a bit mismatched and a few buzzed, and the master bath door didn't completely cover the door opening at the bottom (my wife and I didn't care). The facility also doesn't provide for things like paper towels or beach towels. Be prepared to bring your own or purchase some at one of the local shops. (Traffic was heavy at all times, but it moved pretty quickly and the people were very nice. On season it may have been a bigger issue.) Also, the beds were a little older and soft. I have a bit of a bad back and it didn't bother me, though. So we didn't mind. All of these were well within what we expected for the price. We felt it was a very good value and were very pleased with what we got. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for the stay!

Great Getaway!

Absolutely loved this villa! For a group of six, it was very, very spacious! It was spotless, and in a great location, about 5 min. drive to the village and a short walk to the beach! I will be coming back for sure!

Clean, quiet and steps to beach

Vacationed in Siesta Key during probably one of the busiest spring break weeks ever, but staying at the Island House you just didn't feel the crowds. Loved being able to park right outside of unit, everyone has their own carport ala 1950's. Very quiet and clean villas with updated amenities. Beach and weather were perfect. Getting around island with a car or eating out was a challenge due to crowds but we found our spots and had a great vacation.

Our family enjoyed our get away. The bungalow was clean, spacious & quiet. It was close to the beautiful white sandy beach !! Doug answered questions in a timely matter before we arrived . We highly recommend staying in the bungalows!!

Siesta Key Cool

I would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Siesta Key. Decor has a Florida-vibe, which was welcomed after a day at the beach and exploring Siesta Key Village shops. The kitchen was well stocked with an abundance of supplies. Beds were comfy with plenty of closet and drawer space. We loved the short walk to beautiful Siesta Key Beach. Staff was very professional, polite, and accommodating. We look forward to our visit here next year. It was a fun-filled, sun-filled four days--after having a very cold, gray New England winter . Clean & roomy. Enjoyed our stay but.............

Needs towel racks in master bath. Only one & could use ring to hang hand towels. Rugs would be helpful in front of sinks. Master bedroom bedspread too heavy & dark & no where to put it. Bed pillows need replaced. Awful ! Did not complain to management, only there one week. Would stay there again if these were changed.
