This 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath first floor “COZY” cottage is just 1500 feet from Beach Access #3. Siesta Key Village is 2 blocks away and the beach is just 1000 ft from the door. This 1945 Triplex "Barefoot Bungalows" is located close to it all. Three units within Barefoot Bungalows with unit “COZY” located on bottom floor in rear of complex. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath, turn key rental has living area with sofa and full kitchen. There is a small breakfast table with 2 chairs and a kitchen bar with 3 stools. Flat Screen TV, Wifi and large walk in shower bathroom. All the comforts of home without breaking the bank. Great location, priced as value added for unit “COZY” at Barefoot Bungalows. A location that can’t be beat. Main bedroom has glass slider to patio with king bed. Second bedroom has king bed. Living room has a full size couch and 2 chairs Full kitchen stocked with appliances, and dish-ware for 4-6 guests. Priced lower than rest of area as complex is older 1945 Triplex. We are now Snuggled between two multi-million dollar complexes and offer the charm of simple beach life on Siesta Key. Outdoor patio has table with chairs and night lighting for quiet nights.

No car needed as Beach Access #3 located to the right and beach access #2 located to left (steps away). For your beach needs, 4 beach chairs and 4 beach towels will be provided. Spend a week or reserve an extended stay and you won’t be disappointed. This quaint 1945 complex provides many amenities to include paper towels, dish soap, fresh sponge, trash liners, 3 rolls of TP, bath soap, body wash, hand sanitizer, and many added items to kick start your rental. Park BBQ grill added to complex and each unit has exterior seating. Complex does have a courtesy washer/dryer located on the first level by walkway at no charge for easy use for guest. Keyless entry and concierge service to handle most requests. Parking spot is marked and one vehicle per unit. (2 small cars if tandem parking is allowed) Pictures updated 1/2025. Siesta Key Village is walking distance 2 blocks from door. Keyless entry and virtual check in.

Barefoot Bungalows is NOT under construction we just want to inform that the neighboring streets at times may have work happening but we have privacy wall and no construction happening onsite . Recently added a 10 foot privacy wall to extend more privacy and quiet throughout our property.

Fun Fourth of July

The bungalow is wonderful - it is in the perfect location for easy access to the beach (just feet away) and restaurants. It is exceptionally clean, beds are great and it is as the name describes it is super cozy. The air conditioning is new so it works really well which is also a big plus in July. We rented the place for family as we live locally and I am planning on one day soon driving over the bridge and renting it for ourselves as it is a perfect beach bungalow. The ease of check in, excellent communication, friendliness and availability of the manager 5 plus stars

Beach Vacation

Totally as advertised. Short distance from a wonderful beach and all of the stuff you would need - wagon, chairs, towels etc. The cottage is very nice. Comfy bed and plenty of towels with a hot shower. We loved being walking distance to the old village shopping area for groceries and restaurants and entertainment. We hardly moved our car the whole week. Would rent again.

ABSOLUTLY LOVELY BUNGALOW!!!

Had everything person needs at our unit. Cooking and cleaning supplies and everything you really need to go to the beach which was less than 100 ft walk. Beach are fantastic and beautiful!! It was a quick get away and was perfect place to chill and relax and enjoy Siesta Keys. Also was maybe 3 blocks from the Village which is were you enjoy night life to shops to some fantastic food.

Wonderful, relaxing place

My family and I cam in from Vermont for a week on the beach. This property was everything it advertised - great location, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. Any questions we had were answered right away, couldn't have been smoother.

Fantastic Property So Close To Everything!!!!!

The property was as described and we totally enjoyed our stay. Clean, cozy and had everything we needed for our week in Siesta Key. Lisa was a pleasure to work with and had great communication. We were just around the block from the beach and a couple of blocks from the village. Would highly recommend staying here for everyone!!!!

Great Location

Great location and great host

When we arrived at the property they had flowers, beach toys and chairs for the kids laid out, and a high chair and pack and play for our baby! It was very clean and we had a very comfortable stay! This is a great location and if you stay here you don’t need to rent a car, because you can walk absolutely anywhere you need to go. We had a great vacation!

We Loved It!!

Such a great little cottage in the perfect location! We were steps from the beautiful beach and also a short walk to so many wonderful restaurants (The Cottage, The Star Thai & Sushi and MVP were a few of our favorites). Authentic siesta key villa

We were in for a wedding. We rented all 3 units of this building & one on the other side of the construction. The room came with ample supply of towels, beach chairs, & umbrellas.

Our host was excellent and was so easy to communicate with. She noticed a broken chair and noticed an umbrella that were not in the best shape and immediately replaced the items.

Perfect location!

This is our second stay and if it were't perfect for us we would not have returned. Steps from the beach. While old, and having construction noise, who needs much when you go for sun and the beach! All amenities included. Walking distance to the beach about 500 feet, into the village about 2 blocks! Coming back next year!

Cozy cozy cozy

We had a great stay at the Barefoot Bungalow (Cozy cottage)… yes, there was ongoing construction at the surrounding properties, but, we were lucky enough to have had wonderful weather throughout the stay… So, we were able to take advantage of everything the nearby beach and village have to offer, and didn’t need to be in the house, except to sleep, basically… The beds were more than comfortable, and the beach chairs, towels, cooler and umbrellas were perfect… I’d have to say that the laundry room was a bit scary (ie: dark and dusty), but the appliances were modern and efficient (bring your own laundry soap… I’ve recently started using those EarthBreeze products, which travel well)… Bottom-line… I’m glad we found this place, and if we could return, we probably would…. :-)

General condition ok. Microwave broken but had backup. Accuracy of checklist, 6 chairs instead of 5 listed, only 4 beach towels but list said 6. The back of the bathroom door when closed is very unsightly. Overall though would stay again.

Cozy Experience

The property was spacious for 4 people and clean. If you are looking for suggestions for improvement I would say tear out the broken microwave above the oven and put in a shelf or a rack to hang some utensils. Also replace the window blinds so they are easy to open. We cooked a lot in the kitchen and since the cottage is surrounded by tall buildings I like to open shades to get more light in and it wasn't easy to do with the old shades. Also I would add salt and pepper in the kitchen along with a pair of scissors, another can opener (the one we had was very difficult to use), a bigger frying pan, plastic glasses and a griddle. Since we did things like pancakes, French toast and hamburgers, trying to use a frying pan would have been hard because it was small and you don't get the even heat you need to cook these things. I had to bring my own which is inconvenient when you are flying in. We were very pleased with having the beach towels (very nice ones too), wagon and umbrella for the beach. We also appreciated how quickly you responded when we did need something. Unfortunately it was noisy above us. We could hear the footsteps and furniture moving. The worse was Friday night when we went to bed early because we had to get up at 3:15 and the people above us were stomping around. Maybe more rugs or carpet upstairs for better insulation. Maybe a little table in the bathroom to put stuff on when taking a shower. Overall we enjoyed our stay except for the red tide. LOL
